Pictures

I have been playing around with the scanner today and I thought I'd show some pictures of some of the flowers in our landscaping this year. (I really need practice on this whole blogging with pictures thing.) The first one is obviously the rose bush. Then I have a yellow snapdragon that I think is really vivid and beautiful.

Now, I usually pick flowers for their aesthetic beauty, but the last picture shown is one Gary picked out for it's name. It's not the prettiest flower ever, but it is called the "Orange Gnome". Hmmm, orange is his favorite color (although this looks more like a reddish color than any kind of orange I've ever seen) and the gnome part should just speak for itself!
