Words To Live By

Yesterday was my Grandma Helen's birthday. I think of her often and miss her so much. Her birthday made me want to share with you something she gave to me 15 years ago. I'm pretty sure from checking on the Internet that the author is "unknown" but I love it just the same! I read it often and try so hard to remember these words. (Which is sometimes hard)

Life is like a mirror.
If you frown at it, it frowns back.
If you smile, it returns the greeting.
Every minute you are angry, you lost 60 seconds of happiness.
Forget injuries, but never forget kindness.
Worry pulls together clouds over today’s sunshine.
No one can help everyone, but everyone can help someone.
Be content with what you have, but never be satisfied with what you are.
Live each day so that you will neither be afraid of tomorrow or ashamed of yesterday.
Keep your chin up.
Don’t do anything in haste.
Take the time to think and be sure of you actions.

Always remember we love you.
(Ok, this isn't part of the original poem, but my favorite part of what she wrote :)
